    Research Study for the Treatment of Overactive Bladder

    Purpose of the study:

    The objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of the study drug on symptoms of overactive bladder compared
    to placebo.

    Study Information:

  • The study will last approximately twelve (12) weeks.
  • Participation in the study is free of charge. All assessments, visits, and study medication is at no-cost.
  • There will be a total of eight (8) patient visits during the course of the study.
  • The principal investigator is Samuel Alexander, MD.
  • The principal coordinator of the study is Isabel Arnold, RN, CCRC
  • A patient stipend for time and travel will be offered.

    To qualify for the study you must:

  • Be female between the ages of 18 and 70 who has been diagnosed with overactive bladder.

    To qualify for the study you must NOT:

  • Have had any OAB or UUI treatment within the last 30 days prior to entering the study.
  • Have previously participated as a patient in a clinical study in the 3 months prior to entering this study.
  • Have had urological surgery within last 4 months prior to the study.
