A: Yes we have a large, quite room that is dedicated for monitoring visits.

A: Yes, we provide secure, high-speed wireless Internet access.

Q: Are there hotels nearby?
A: Yes, there are several nice hotels within a five minute drive of the Center.

Q: What is the name of the local airport?
A: Denver International Airport (DIA)

Q: How far is the airport from the Center?
A: The airport is a 30 to 45 minute drive from the Center depending on traffic. It is an easy drive though with a total of 4 turns (all left) between the airport and the Center, including the turn into our parking lot.

Q: What mode of transportation do you recommend from the airport?
A: By far the most convenient is to rent a car and there are numerous car rental agencies located at the airport.

Q: Does your facility have convenient parking?
A: Yes, the office building we are in has a large parking lot. When you first arrive we will give you a temporary parking permit that is good for the entire day.

Q: Are there restaurants nearby?
A: Yes, there are a number of restaurants within a short walking distance as well as many more within a shortdrive that range from fast food to some of the finest in the city.

Q: Do monitors have access to kitchen facilities?
A: Yes we have a kitchen that monitors are welcome to make use of.

Q: Does your Center have a lab?
A: Yes we have a lab with refrigerator, -25C freezer, drug storage, incubator, scale, phlebotomy chair, and two centrifuges one of which is refrigerated.

Q: Do you have experience with electronic data capture?
A: Yes, the majority of our studies utilize an EDC and although all of our personnel have experience with various EDC systems we have two staff members whose jobs are partially dedicated to EDC data entry.

Q: Do you have experience with electronic log pads?
A: Yes, we have conducted a number of studies that utilize electronic log pads.

Q: Do you have experience with IVRS systems?
A: Yes, we have conducted numerous studies that require the use of IVRS.

Q: How many monitors can you accommodate at a time?
A: The monitoring room is large and can easily accommodate 3 or 4 monitors who are here to monitor the same study. We will only schedule monitoring visits for one study at a time however as we need to be able to dedicate time for the monitoring visit.

Q: How far in advance should monitoring visits be scheduled?
A: Probably the best answer is as far as possible. Several weeks would be a good idea but we always try to be as flexible as we can and to work with monitors to schedule visits.

Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: Officially we are open from 8:00 to 6:00 but in reality we are usually here quite a bit earlier and quite a bit later.

Q: Do you have a patient database from which you can recruit for studies?
A: We have an ever growing database of approximately 4,000 previous study subjects or those who did not pre-qualify for a study but indicated that they would like to be contacted for future studies.

A: Yes we do and it is very effective.

A: Yes, we do.

Q: Do you work with central IRBs?
A: Yes we only work with central IRBs. However, we are familiar with local IRBs since our business manager, Bill Arnold, is a member of the National Jewish Health IRB and our Director, Isabel Arnold, was a CCRC and Phase I lab manager at the University of Colorado Health Science Center which uses COMIRB for all their studies.

Q: How far is the nearest medical facility to your Center?
A: Rose Medical Center is across the street from us. Their emergency room is only a block away.
